Greenfield Village Open Air Farmers Market

On Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, October 3, we'll be participating in one of our favorite events of the year, the Greenfield Village Farmers Market.   Greenfield Village is an 80 acre venue honoring the traditions, architecture, artisans, food and music of America's past.   The annual open air farmers market brings together the best local food that Southeast Michigan has to offer. It's a fun family event with a great community spirit. The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village have a great tradition of using local ingredients in their restaurants and catering.  During the fall season, try their butternut squash soup, hobo bread and cherry chicken sausage - so good!

From the Greenfield Village website:

Enjoy an open air farm market where you can purchase local grains and baking mixes, handcrafted creations from Greenfield Village’s Herb Society, organic breads, local farm fresh produce, pumpkins, meats, honey, apples from local farmers and more.

This event is rain or shine. The Fall Season Farmers Market is free to members and free with Greenfield Village admission.
